On
Sunday, December 23, 2018, First Church of Christ, Scientist,
Edmonton presented its annual musical celebration of
Christmas.
The
hour-long event began with a short concert presented by
the musicians of the church, Judith Richardson,
soprano and Kirk Kryvenchuk,
piano and organ. This year's musical guests included Janet
Smith, soprano; Shona Mitchell,
flute; Carolyn Lambert soprano;
Luba Lubinskyb, soprano; and John
Lambert, baritone. The First Church Vocal
Ensemble also performed and included baritones
Paul Cachia and Simon Lambert.
Following
the concert the audience joined the performers for a carol
sing-along. Refreshments were served before and after
the event. |
